WORDBND.COM - Wordtomotive. In addition to the new Jimny generation, Suzuki is also preparing a new concept to be exhibited at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show, next October. Based on electric vehicles, the concept called e-Survivor will appear as an illustration of future products from Suzuki.

The e-Survivor design looks like a Jimny with a large grille, square corner design, and round lights. No wonder this concept car is also called the electric version of the Jimny.

Quoted from Autoevolution, this electric car was formed from the combination of several DNA Suzuki SUVs, namely Jimny, Escudo, and Vitara. In dimensions, e-Survivor has a length of 3,460 mm, a width of 1,645 mm and a height of 1,655.

This size is claimed to be smaller than a city car, but in appearance the e-Survivor has a handsome stature, making it look bigger.

Although futuristic, Suzuki tries to maintain a classic impression in several sectors, from the front to the open roof design like an old Jeep.

Meanwhile, to emphasize an electric car, it is shown from the unique design on the wheels, precisely on the rim bars which can emit blue light. The interior is made more attractive with a variety of sophisticated equipment, such as a panoramic screen along the dashboard, to a 3D globe view that is useful for navigation.

Answering that anxiety, several automotive designer students from IED (Istituto Europeo di Design) in Turin, Italy, made a sketch to predict the design of the electric version of the Suzuki Jimny in the future. Photo: Electric Vehicle Web

The driver will get information about the details of the vehicle, while the screen on the passenger will display more global information.

Unfortunately, until now there is no certainty regarding the detailed specification information, the electric motor that will be used, to the production problem. But Suzuki ensures this car comes with advantages in exploring various terrains.
