Refusing the corona vaccine, is Elon Musk immune?
WORDBND.COM - WordNews. SpaceX founder Elon Musk admits that he and his family refused to be vaccinated against COVID-19 when the vaccine was discovered. The reason is that he feels he is not at risk of being exposed to the Corona COVID-19 virus.
This answer he revealed in an interview with the New York Times Podcast. This is the number of times Elon Musk has underestimated the risk of infection with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
"Not [taking the vaccine], I am not at risk of getting COVID-19. Neither do my children," Elon Musk said briefly, as quoted by CNN International, Wednesday (30/09/2020).
It was unclear what Musk meant, who recently had a baby boy with wife Grimes, 32, when he said he and his family were not at risk of catching the coronavirus.
During an interview with the New York Times, Musk, who was outspoken about the pandemic, also criticized the lockdown policy. Because according to him the policy did not provide the right solution for handling the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Basically, the right thing to do is not to put a nationwide lockdown on, but in my opinion, anyone at risk should be quarantined until the storm is over," he said.
Musk added that he will work as usual and that SpaceX will return to sending astronauts into space. He also insisted he would continue to open the Tesla factory even though some employees tested positive after returning to work.
